“I love this park. I love that they have a pond which does have an alligator so beware. But it's a very nice path around the pond which is always clean. This is a very clean park. They do have other sides of the park which has two dog parks. They have I believe two baseball fields. So for people who like to play baseball and things. Otherwise it's a very nice path to walk to run and to bike and bring your dog. On the path itself doesn't have a lot of shade. But off the path there are a lot of trees with a lot of shade. If you're going to bring your dog to walk on the hot pavement please bring them water. Or at least bring them to the shaded dog park. There are also exercise stations. Check your local listings at times there are events at the park. Also what I really love about this park is that they have a lot of dragonflies. And you may be wondering why that is such a huge deal. Well it's amazing because they eat all the mosquitoes. And as many times as I have been to the park I have not gotten bitten by a mosquito. I love dragonflies. Great for sunrise and sunset walking/running.”

“This wasn't always the Great Park it is now. But it's great now! After school care, movies in the park, children's football. What they really really need though is a splash pad, and a dog run!”

“This is a great family park! The playground isn’t huge but it has plenty to do for all three of my girls ages 4-7, and clean bathrooms which is always a bonus. There is also a huge dog park area (with a nice, tall fence for those of you with jumpers!), and another big green space for tag or kicking a soccer ball. The whole area is set in a quiet neighborhood and fenced, very safe.”

“Very nice park, however I like the entrance on Morris Bridge more as is it has better access to water fountains. This part of the trail has more diversions to other parks, however, which is nice, specifically Trout Creek and the New Tampa Park”

“My family and I loved this park. There is a bait shop and a Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The kids enjoyed both the small and the larger playgrounds and they loved the spray park. The guys went fishing on the pier and I especially loved the fact that we were able to bring our dog Max so that he could enjoy the park as well that was a definite plus.”

“Love the light's and tree's around the trail. We're still sad they removed the bench surrounding the great oak. We'd love to see a swing set and more equipment for children. Everyone is super friendly and the park is very clean. Tons of nature and very pet friendly.”

“A good little park for families in the nearby apartments or housing neighborhoods. We used to bring kids here when I worked at a summer camp program. There is a trail for walking that splits a couple ways, picnic tables for eating, and benches for resting. A swing-set and jungle gym for kids to play on, an open area for playing frisbee or perhaps having a game of soccer with friends, and a basketball court with 4 hoops. Occasionally you'll see organized games on the courts. Plenty of shade thanks to the trees, in addition to the shaded building with extra tables. The maintenance is decent, could be a little better. Occasionally all bathrooms are completely inaccessible during hours of operation with no signs or explanation.”

“Neighborhood is considerably large and being new to the RV life I would have to say that so far it seems like a regular suburban neighborhood rather than seasonal vacationers. They have a curfew at 10 for quiet time which is fine. 3 places on the compound for laundry and to shower if needed. Neighbors and staff are friendly and pretty cheap per month considering inflation. I don't have any negative comments about this RV resort so far and I've been here for about 2 weeks now. For now, I give this place 2 thumbs up 😁👍👌”

“This is just a small yet nice park tucked away off of Fletcher. No facilities to speak of, but there is a picnic bench (did not sit on it to see if there were wasps or anything). More of a place to come and take a break from the world than anything else. Be careful with the kids, as there is nothing between them and the water. If I worked in one of the businesses close by, I'd probably eat my lunch there.”

“My favorite place to go kayaking. Defiantly recommend going during non peak times. The walk from the kayak drop off to the launch is a little walk but we’ll worth the trouble. Drop off and pick up is easy, nice kayak wash station, and easy kayak launch area. Rentals are available along with nearby restrooms. Many mangrove areas that is great for fishing, be area that the water is affected by the tides. There are causal smaller boats and air boats that use these waterways but they aren’t typically a Nuisance.”

“Amazing there's a beautiful court and field. Sports are very possible here. I have grown up in this neighborhood very close to the water and you might find the lake after the field. I would suggest thinking of going. It's great!!”
