“I took the TESOL Advanced and for Children courses and I am very pleased with my experience. It was very convenient for me as I could work on the courses at my own pace. I also really liked the quick responses from my teachers and the director, Jonathan Lazarus. In fact, when I received my first certificate, it came in the mail bent. I requested the next certificate be sent with cardboard protection and to my surprise, I received a new copy of my certificate that was bent. What a kind gesture by the company! Currently, I work in Japan on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program and in large part to getting my TESOL certifications. I highly recommend this course for people who want to learn more about teaching English as a second language.”

The school is very diverse and you can practice your religion and culture without being harassed. There is an assortment of clubs that that include honors, service, career and interest types. “We found more than just dance and music lessons! At Danzaire we found a family! My kids love coming to Danzaire! The teachers are amazing and they work with love on every lesson and really build on the true talent of students. Love the owners and the diversity of classes they have to offer from ballet to contemporary all for the same price. Very affordable and helpful for the community.”

“No matter what they say, you are in control of your own future. You can choose to make the best of it by making awesome friends and participating in school clubs. Also for those bus riders, you can get an extra 10 minutes to an hour of sleep after waking up at 6:00, 5:00 or even 4 in the morning. Do not think your smarter than the other students, or you might get picked on. This is a school of equality, and if you can't make a friend, your playing hard to get. This is a home of memories. This school helps you build to a better future, and you learn a lot from it. The teachers are awesome, and act as role models and mother/father figures to those who need it. This school has a lot of history, and no matter what the past says or what the news shows, this school will change, into a more better, more productive type of society. We are all about change, and our differences is what brings us together. All is fair, in love and war. After going through all 4 years, you would not only be happy to finally leave, but happy that you have successfully moved forward in life. For all you parents out there, I totally recommend attending this school, and for you kids, this is not a paid advertisement, nor have I taken drugs prior to writing this review 😊”

“We already had a spot for our 3 year old at another school closer to where we work, but they couldn't take him until late August. We found LOLA not too far away from us and approached the admin there about enrolling our child just for the summer. The expectation was that he would simply attend for 6-8 weeks, then go to his new school. Long story short, we ended up liking the staff and situation at LOLA so much that it turned out to be a heart-wrenching decision to pull our child out when the time came. Ultimately, we decided to stick to the plan for our own convenience and because we had waited a year and a half to get the spot at the other school, but we agonized over the decision for several weeks. Our son's teachers were all very caring and he especially loved Ms Kris, who greeted him with a hug each day. The playground was one of the best I have seen at any preschool and it was 60-70% shaded! They even had a covered area outside where kids could get fresh air on rainy days. I have read some other negative reviews, particularly on Yelp, but I have to say we did not have any of those experiences. We did read our contract, though ;-) I will say one thing- the cost per week is among the lowest in the region and it is a great value. It is by no means perfect, but no place is. We could of course suggest some small improvements, but all would probably cause an increase in the tuition and impact the inclusiveness of the student body. Bottom line, our child enjoyed going to school each day and he still to this day asks to see Ms Kris. We wish all of the staff at LOLA our best and thank them for a wonderful summer.”

“We are about to start our 2nd year with Windsor and we are so happy we found this school. The Teachers and staff truly care about the kids. No more than 12 kids in a class which means no child is left behind. They actually teach the kids and make sure they understand their work. I can always reach someone if I have questions and the open communication is refreshing. It’s also not just me as a parent who lives this school. My 14yo and 9yo both can’t wait to start their 2nd year here!”

“I couldn’t have had a better experience with LMU. Everyone, from the administrative staff to our faculty, was amazing, prepared, and wanted to see us succeed. I recently passed the NCLEX and the studying process was relatively easy because they had already taught me 99% of things I needed to know for the boards, it was only a matter of reviewing. Our program wasn’t easy, but it’s not supposed to be easy, nurses have a big job with a lot of responsibility. Also, they not only prepared us for the NCLEX, but they taught us how to be nurses, and how to think like nurses. They have a partnership with Advent Health which allowed us to have our clinical rotations at their hospitals (even when most schools were doing online clinicals due to COVID). We went to sooo many different units and specialties, from the Operating Room to the Neonatal ICU. We made great connections, and many of us got job offers from the units we went to when we were students! There were several schools doing clinicals alongside us, but LMU nursing students had the best reputation for being hardworking and knowledgeable. Our instructors were the best part though. All of them are accomplished nurses, with many years of experience. They go above and beyond to make sure we understand the concepts and to make class entertaining/interactive. We could always count on them for help if we were struggling with something, or if we needed clarification. Overall, I am so happy I picked LMU. I knew nursing school was going to be difficult so I wanted to pick a school that was going to help me become a great nurse, and where I felt supported, LMU was that place for me.”

(As do I) The variety of classes taught by talented dancers and performers allows my daughter to work towards mastering techniques and reaching personal goals. From the teachers to the owner Mrs. Lisa, you are always greeted with warm smiles and excitement. Participating in a trial class last year was one of the best decisions we made. My daughter enjoys Musical Theater, singing, and dancing and has found her voice and confidence at Stagelights, her home away from home.
