Canoe Outpost-Little Manatee River

We did trip 1. It's a 6 mile kayak trip, so upper body strength and good back health is suggested. But how peaceful and beautiful. Saw Gators both tiny and big, osprey, manatee, huge turtles. I am new to the area and this will be my "go to" trip for anyone visiting.

This was such a wonderful place!! We had so much fun!! Showers and bathhouses were so clean. Neighbors and neighbors were so friendly!! We will definitely be back!!!

We have been twice and both times have been wonderful. The staff is great and the service exceptional. I hesitate leaving a review because I'd like to keep this treasure all to myself 😉. We will be continual repeat customers!

It was Awesome! We saw Manatees, Aligators, Herons, Hawks and an endless variety of flowers. The creek was placid and we stopped twice to picnic and just soak up the quiet sounds of nature.
The staff who launched us and picked us up were pleasant and helpful as they are every time.
We usually canoe this creek 4-5 times per year and recommend it to anyone who loves the water!

Overall great place. Equipment was clean & we were given proper safety gear (life vests & cushions). Staff was very knowledgeable & explained where to go & what to expect perfectly. The area was serene & picturesque. For newbies, it was a nice workout but not impossible! We only had to go one way because they pick you up in a bus to bring you back to your car! We will definitely return & have recommended this little slice of heaven to others already!
