“To give you an idea of how great this office is, I drive from Manatee County to see Dr. Dowdy. Dr. Dowdy is very laid back and he really listens to my concerns. He gives honest feedback and doesn’t just give you the cookbook answer. I have always felt judged by other doctors but I don’t get that vibe from Dr. Dowdy. His staff is excellent as well. The office looks nothing like a doctors office. I wish my house looked that nice. Very calming and pleasant ambiance.”

They also address you by name before you even say your name, when coming in for an appointment. Everyone there are very nice, professional and on point with their work. The only way I will stop coming, is if they close down. Also, I see where someone wrote a review saying the wait time be long. “Well before my 1st ever meeting with Dr. Lamielle as my new Dr, my prescriptions were due for refills that required a Dr.'s approval. So well ahead of my appointment, I provided my 'intro' letter summarizing my medical history. I had been told Dr.'s never approve med refills until the first visit, but Dr. Lamielle read my letter and approved my (vital) refills! Today was my actual appointment. He clearly read my entire letter and knew things about me, making our initial chat very productive. I found him to be very receptive to my thoughts, before drawing his conclusions on next steps for me (including a specialist referral so I can check if he is in my network, and an order for blood tests before our next meeting). Afterwards, I read his report online in MyChart, and his summary and plans for me were both excellent. I'm particularly happy to have a DO (MD with extra schooling and unique philosophy that includes nutrition and holistic options rather than just drugs as the only option). His assistant Melissa was awesome as well, with extra help on things I had to do for my 1st appointment.”
