The Castaways On the River [Closed]

Imaculately clean unit. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Right on St. Johns River.
Next to bridge.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay at Castaways on the River. Had a 2 bedroom cottage and friends in the 3 bedroom. Rented a pontoon boat. Wonderful cottages nicely decorated, great porches and views. Boat was clean and in great shape. Debra and Sarah in the office were so accommodating before and during our stay! This will be our annual summer getaway!

Castaways on the River was very nice, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We also rented one of their potoon boats for the day, it was reasonably priced and very clean. We will definently be back. Thank you Castaways on the River for an awesome weekend!

One of the nicer places to stay on the river at Astor, next to Blackwater Restaurant. Prices not bad, more emphasis could be on fixing things reported at rooms, but pretty clean. Love the riverfront units..

Thanks for a great day on the water! We came to fish...but the wind was wild. We braved George to see the springs which were very cool, lots of people here. Since the waves were so big we went back to the river. Caught gar, saw gaters, boated with a bunch of sea cows. The pontoon rental was very nice, and priced right. We would strongly recommend, and would go back in a heartbeat.
