The best doctor EVER. Unfortunately SouthLake moved her office. She was in a perfect place. Big enough to properly help her patients. Now the put her in such a tiny office. I had no where to sit, that is how good she is. She needs an independent office. Endocrinologist is what keeps us going. I would not be here if it was not for Dr. Jacob. They moved her without her knowledge to make more room for cardiology. I am not comfortable in the new office. It is not that private, I believe HIPPA might want to take a look. Endocrinologist have many many challenges to pin point why the patient is so sick, her job is not easy and she gives 200% to her patients and is dedicated to SouthLake. I had more respect for SouthLake until I see them treating some of their doctors so poorly. Love you Dr. Jacob's hang in there, I will follow you to the moon if I have too.

Dr. Jacob is one of the kindest doctors I’ve encountered! She gave my mom and I hugs upon entering our patient room. She actually LISTENS to her patients and even says “Now let me listen to you, tell me what is going on”. She goes through your lab work in detail and answers any questions you have, explains them so well! She is genuinely caring and knowledgeable. She also was the one who led me to being diagnosed with MS thanks to an MRI order! Thank you Dr. Jacob for making me feel seen and heard!

I am a 65 yo Male and have been diabetic since 1986. I went from oral pills to twice a day insulin shots to multiple insulin shots in the 90s and eventually transitioned to Insulin Pump with CGM some 20 years ago. After consulting with some top notch Stanford Endocrinologists for a few years, and dissatisfied with their approach, I recently went to see Dr. Jacob on the advice of my PCP. After a few meetings, I am now off Insulin completely and my pancreas are taking care of my blood sugars automatically. I find this nothing less than miraculous, and Dr. Jacob as a Diabetes Whisperer! She is the most well-informed physician, and extremely kind, compassionate and patient. She analyzed my case in a systematic fashion, and came up with the most appropriate treatment. Diabetics all over the world need physicians like Dr. Jacob.

Dr. Jacob is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is caring, compassionate, understanding, and empathetic. I used to hate going to my endocrinologist because it made me anxious and the doctor always found a way to make me feel bad about myself- but Dr. Jacob is so kind and empowering that I look forward to her appointments. And A1C is down too! All of her staff are so friendly as well! Overall excellent office. I highly highly recommend.

This was the best experience with any doctor that I have ever had. From the front desk to the actual consultation with the doctor- everything was what you hope for when seeing a doctor and more. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Dr.Jacob is the only doctor I have met who I can say has inspired me instead of criticized me. She told me things I have never been told in my 15 years of having Diabetes/Hypothyroidism. She explained everything so well and brought up so many things that no other doctor has and what she said is spot on to what I always felt was right. For once, I am not leaving an appointment resentful or discouraged. I would recommend her to everyone and I am not the type to normally like doctors to be honest. Very grateful
to have found everyone there.
