(December 11, 2013, 2:14 pm)Saturday the price said it was 3.35 per gallon for the 87 Octane so I stopped at the HESS across the street. First thing that should have told me to go elsewhere was the fact that the security seal on the credit card box was broken, so I was afraid I'd get my card skimmed, so I went inside to pay. So I paid for 20 dollars of gasoline when my tank was exactly half full on my 6V truck. It only went up a QUARTER to 3/4 full. I thought something was wrong because 20 dollars normally moves the needle from 1/2 to just about full. So, I drive about 70 miles since then and today my tank was right back at a 1/2 full. Can you tell me that 20 dollars of gas only gets me 70 miles of driving??? So I went to this BP instead tonight where the price was 3.45, an extra 10 cents per gallon than it was at HESS 2 nights ago. I filled 19.98 and my needle moved from 1/2 to FULL with the same amount of money! I'm guessing BP only gave me about 8-10 dollars worth of gas. Total Rip off by HESS. BP gas gave me the mileage I should have gotten, and the HESS across the street was a ripoff
