(October 25, 2022, 5:46 pm)I injured both elbows and was referred to Hohman rehab. Really happy that I was too. Dr Sydney used her brilliant intellect to challenge me and help repair the screaming tendons. Her stretches and exercises are creative and produced results. She has a great team of folks too. Stefanie was quite kind and spent time working with me and throwing in just the right amount of chatting to help distract from the discomfort normally associated with physical therapy. Joe works closely with Dr Sydney too, supervising the patients and helping to keep it all flowing. The appointments were prompt, right on time. No real waiting to be seen. The place is clean and organized. I must say, over the course of my treatment, I think I had the opportunity to meet most of the doctors and staff. They are all fantastic. The receptionist greats you by name, says good morning with a smile. The staff share spirit week with themed days and I feel like I might have cast the winning vote for the pumpkin 🎃 painting contest. At the end of my treatment I feel like I made a couple of friends. Great Folks!
(September 15, 2022, 7:14 pm)I was sent to Hohman Rehab and Sports Therapy, for the treatment of sciatica. I had never had sciatica before, and I had no idea what a brutally horrible condition it is. I was welcomed and evaluated and a game plan was set up to start me on my therapy.
A young woman named Helen (one of the physical therapists on staff) attended to me, and started taking me through my therapy, step by step. She explained the purpose of each exercise and made sure that I was doing them accurately so that the workout would produce the maximum results, and help me reach the highest potential. At each session, Helen greets me and gets right to work. As I said she monitors everything I do to make sure I’m doing it accurately. She explains each exercise and which muscles are being worked and how it all contributes to the eventual relief of the sciatic nerve. She is obviously a very well trained and very professional physical therapist… I have made such incredible progress under her supervision. She is always pleasant and upbeat but she makes sure that her knowledge is transferred to me via my workouts. I am so grateful that we are seeing great progress in my therapy, and I have finally received relief from the pain and I am regaining my ability to walk, and to function at my previously active and pain-free level of activity. For anybody going to this business for physical therapy I can assure you, their therapists are absolutely top notch, And I am so thankful that I’ve benefited so well from all the work that Helen put forth on me.
(September 10, 2022, 11:38 am)This my third post surgical experience with Holman rehab. I’ve had two knee replacements and currently a shoulder replacement. All my experiences have been positive. Helen Johnson has been my principal therapist. She has been professional, caring and encouraging to me. I’ve returned to Hohman rehab each time because of her, and plan to in the future. I have also referred Hohman to others, telling them how great you all are.
(March 15, 2022, 4:36 pm)I had been experiencing shoulder/neck and arm pain for a number of months. I had been to Holman in the past for another issue that was resolved so I asked my PCP for a referral back again for this issue.
Helen and Lindsey set me up with the proper balance of stretching and strengthening exercises to move towards a successful resolution of the problem. After 6 weeks I am now pain free and back to everything I was doing for athletic activities as I was only now without discomfort.
Hohman comes highly recommend , I'm very pleased with the outcome!!!!!
(November 9, 2021, 9:28 am)I cannot say enough about Hohman Rehab and Sports Therapy. I had a total knee replacement and to say the least.. I was terrified of physical therapy. From the moment I came in the door and met Lindsay.. all my fears were gone. Lindsay and Stephanie have taken the very best care of me. They have been patient and kind with me and very encouraging as well. I highly recommend Hohman Rehab for any physical therapy needs. They are top notch. The office staff is fantastic as well. Always greet you with a smile!
