I can't begin to express my gratitude to teachers and staff in this school! I bought a home in Lake county and transferred my daughter here for 2nd grade. Her teacher Ms.Vitale is amazing and has taught her so much in a short period of time! The staff is warm and attentive towards the kids. It's so refreshing to see all the extracurricular activities, the smiles on the staff's faces during drop off/pick up times. My daughter LOVES the ELC after school care program, they help with homework, she does fun activities, and computer time. The upcoming field trip even includes a special school shirt. It's more than money can buy to have a truly happy child creating unforgettable memories in elementary school. We are very fortunate to be a part of this great school. ????????????????????
Great professional staff. Haven't had a problem & my kids love it.
All 4 of my children have attended this school. We were part of the opening year. We have seen many changes, and people come and go. But one thing always remained the same, and that is an amazing staff focused on giving your child the education they deserve. Without a doubt, this is the best school in lake county. I have removed one star because the Lake County School Board is crooked, poorly managed, and miss handles funds for schools. One example, my daugters teacher could not even print out homework, because paper wasnt in the budget and was being rationed. What a damn shame. Also printer inks are empty. She hand wrote all homework, and out of her expense, made copies at the local library. I blame this on the Superintendent and the Florida School system.
The teachers at this school make it the absolute best! My kids love going here and love all the extra-curricular activities and programs after school that they can get involved in. It's not just a school, it is our community. Administration is very involved and PTO is great! It is a very large school, but it feels very homey and welcoming when you enter. I am not a fan of uniform policies, but that is a county rule.
