Had a wonderful experience at the bank. Tivani helped me open up a new checking account. Both he and Val introduced themselves upon me entering. I was happy an appointment wasn't necessary. It was quick and easy. The offerings of the bank are perfect for any personal needs. I look forward to staying with them for a long time.

I had a terrible situation happen that caused $130 in fees. I still do not understand exactly why so many fees. However, after I exhausted all options to get help I posted a terrible review here. It got the attention of the correct person and TrustCo Bank, specifically the South Clermont branch, fixed everything including a follow-up phone call to me personally. Thank you so much.
This 5 star rating reflects my satisfaction with them over the past 5 years. They have gone out of their way to make me a happy customer on several occasions. I will leave the original review below. Maybe sharing my ordeal will prove helpful for someone else.

My husband made a simple mistake and these people charged $130 in 4 different fees and charges. Ridiculous! When we try to talk to them the branch says we have to wait on higher. When we message higher they say it's up to the branch. Sound like the run around?! Yes, totally! They cannot even explain what charges caused an overdraft and when they occurred.
"I can't see that information." WHAT?!?!
From customer service today, "Regarding any Non-Sufficient Fund fees and reversals, our bank policy is to get Branch Administration approval so I apologize it is not the optimal situation. I personally reached out to the branch manager at South Clermont regarding the Branch Admin approval. I was told that the branch manager did not have any update but would contact Branch Admin as well as reach out to you today.
We appreciate your patience during this time."
It says there they will reach out to me today. It is now 9 p.m. and there has been no reaching at all. I will move on to credit unions and never deal with a bank again. Trustco you fail! Hope you sleep well. Can't understand how that could happen. Oh wait, probably with your big bonus!
Can you tell I'm upset because I'm eating tuna fish since you stole $130 from my physically and mentally disabled combat veteran husband. Boo! :-(
