We selected Compassionate Care Hospice based on several excellent word-of-mouth recommendations to help us make my father’s final days at home more comfortable. Having not used hospice prior, we were astonished by the range of services provided – from setting up our home with the appropriate furniture to daily care, medical and social work visits. Compassionate Care Hospice was truly amazing, providing what they said they would – a dedicated presence (day and night as needed) and compassionate symptom management that enabled us to keep my father comfortable at home. The care team exceeded our expectations. It was clear that they believed in the work they were doing, and that this was not just a job for any of them. I would highly recommend Compassionate Care Hospice to any family in need, without hesitation.

My grandpa was to be discharged from the hospital with hospice. The hospital chose a hospice company, but I informed them that I wished to speak with another recommended company as well. The first company we saw was on site at the hospital with a very impressive presentation of all of their abilities to help my grandpa. The only problem is that the hospital was rushing our discharge, and the first company brushed over my concerns repeating that they would have everything arrive in 3 hours to his house. The Compassionate care rep came in very lovely, but I was so worried about being rushed out that we felt we needed to go with the first company. We thanked her for her time and chose the other company. She was so pleasant about the decline. After we walked away, she stopped me and reviewed with me my grandpa's rights for safe discharge home and not to be rushed until everything was at his house before he was. I called my family knowing we made a mistake. This lady put my grandpa's safety as priority and my concerns. The hospital case manager yelled at Compassionate care rep and didn't know I was standing there in the hallway. She was upset with us not going with the hospital's referral. We used Compassionate care from then on. They send a nurse out twice a week, but ended up more initially. The aide was amazing with her wonderful care 5 times a week. After his care she sat with him while family napped and errands. We had a two hour visit that she encouraged us to use.The other company would have only sent an aide out twice a week for one hour and nurse once a week. I had a daily call by his nurse if we needed her more often. The nurse texted with me making sure we didn't need anything or that we received deliveries
which was so nice. I am a nurse and was comfortable with less often visits, and my medical background was embraced. I was so comfortable with their quality of care that I was able to just be his granddaughter most of the time. My grandpa passed away so peacefully surrounded by loved ones and the hospice nurse prayed with my family at grandpa's bedside. Most cherished moments experienced because of their support.

This place gave absolutely incredible care to my father in his final illness. Their name is very fitting. They always had time to answer all my questions. And they did things for me and my father that was way above what was required. The social worker assigned to my father worked tirelessly. And now, my father has passed, and they stay in touch with me to help with the grieving process. You can't ask for more!

Compassionate Care provided hospice services for my father in 2016. Their level of support was amazing. Nurses visited multiple times each week and home health aides provided personal care every day. I remember a hospice physician coming to his home at 10:30 one night to help get my father's symptoms under control. Everyone was caring and compassionate. I highly recommend CCH. We couldn't have done it without them.
