Francisco J Montoya, MD

Dr. Montoya is a great doctor. He is straight forward and to the point. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. His staff is always polite and efficient. I highly recommend him and his staff.

My Mom just passed recently, but a Facebook post popped up today that I wrote after one of her appointments with Dr. Montoya. I remember that day, and hope that this message will find it's way to the doctor:

I took my mom to the Pulmonologist yesterday. My mom is 85, blind, and lives in a nursing home. Many days she just wants to die, to be with her husband, of 66 years, again. She gets extra depressed on weekends because the staff is a little less friendly and attentive.
She wasn't in a great mood when we first headed out and, frankly, neither was I. The doctor was so pleasant, and patient. He joked with her, talked to her, listened to her. He told her, when we were leaving, how much he enjoyed her company. And he meant it.
She was in a FANTASTIC mood for the rest of the day. I felt so much better too. My patience and caring for other people increased for the rest of the day (and beyond) because I was influenced by this small act of kindness. This man may not even realize that he did anything remarkable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Montoya for years. His staff always make you feel welcome. Wait time are under 15 minutes. I am usually in and out in 30 minutes. He always comes in the room with a smile and seems to encourage me in a positive way, and somewhere within the visit throws a compliment my way. Of you are in need of a great pulmanologist, I highly recommend Dr.Montoya.
