  I can't say enough about this place. Such a unique restaurant with a great history of old Florida. Bring your appetite and your camera. The place is decorated with all types of Taxidermy. Many with good stories behind them. You'll love the roadkill menu! 😋

  Hadn't visited in ~20 yrs, still fun & kitchy FL vibe. Taxidermy of local critters from years past are fascinating. Roadkill menu is hilarious. Good home style food in general, reasonably priced for the most part. Gator options. Family restaurant atmosphere with outdoor dining and live music. Nice drive although much more built up area these days. Nice parking lot. They recommended reservations but we walked right in as well.

  Great ambiance! Seafood was so good! Try the gator bites, tender-lightly breaded, and the dip was delicious! Mahi sandwich was tender and flavorful, Catfish cooked just right!! Coleslaw was sweet- could of eaten a big bowl, and French fries or home cooked kettle chips were perfect!! Ended our meal with yummy Key Lime pie and Cheesecake! Thanks for a great lunch Linger Lodge🐠🌴🤗

  I have really good memories of several dining experiences here. This is the kind of place where you could take your out of town guests to, and they'll remember the details of it because of the uniqueness of it all. I tried alligator twice here before I went vegetarian, in a soup and as a burger. It's worth trying it in different ways. Friends got some plump frog legs that were good according to them. Linger a while to take a look at everything on the walls.

  2 weeks late post (Before Ian hurricane) Kids definitely loved the atmosphere with all the preserved animals around. Kids also loved their kids menu. I ventured to try the alligator burger and it was a little harder meat compared to the beef burger. My wife loved the alligator chowder though. Pastas were great. The service was very good. A great place to eat especially if you want the feel of a cabin- out in the woods type of ambiance for lunch or dinner.
