We have all 3 kids in lessons at BFA and I can’t express enough how special it is! Everyone had that teacher, maybe 2 if you were lucky that could truly share a passion for a subject and spark that same fire within you, Denny and his academy embodies that! Always motivating, engaging and never a bad day. He’s a master at being in the moment with each and every student.

My son began guitar lessons with Mr. Thomas when he was in middle school and then added voice lessons a year or so later and took lessons throughout high school. My daughter took piano lessons from him during middle and high school. They learned so many facets of music- reading music, scales, rhythm, transposing , performance, ear training, and so much more. Mr. Thomas prepared them for music competitions but also prepared them to put into practice their music skills in a church setting , friend bands/hangouts and in college ministries. They will continue to use the foundation they learned through him wherever they are. Mr. Thomas teaches each student in a way that works for them and helps them accomplish their goals. He’s fun, witty, communicates well, and has all around great teaching style! Highly recommend!

Denny at Bradenton Fine Arts Academy started giving my son Logan guitar and music theory instruction when was 10 years old. It has literally transformed his life. It has opened opportunities for him that we are so thankful for. He gets to play at church and devotes so much time , absolutely loves it! Now at age 18, he still wants his weekly lesson, learning piano. He enjoys his bond with his teacher and friend . Denny knows how to get the best out of his students and is so motivating. Bradenton Fine Arts helped my son succeed in more than learning to play his instrument. He learned to read music, transpose, and develop understanding of music theory. Students thrive when they have a passion and my son now has a passion for music that will last his whole life.
