The visitor center is a little small but it's really the outside that's the big see. They have a nice hiking trail along the coast with lots of information. Also they have a memorial and reenactment village.
Take a moment and enjoy the video, it's very informative. The trails are relaxing and full of history. Get a map and explore!
Very nice day at this National Park. Beautiful walking trail! Crazy story about De Soto if you watch the movie in the visitor's center.
This is a nice little spot to come explore with the wife and kids. Offers some great views of the ocean and has some cool hiking trails with history lessons. They have a NP center with plenty of info
Really nice park for a nature walk. Dogs allowed on leash. Nice clean restrooms. One trail is a mile long and the other is a half mile. Lots of shade with views of the river and Gulf. The trails are well maintained and made of gravel. Plenty of benches along the way.
