AMI Paddleboard & Kayak Adventures

Awesome experience. Absolutely a must do activity when staying in the area. Andrew was fantastic. It was my wife's first time kayaking. He made her feel very at ease and comfortable before we headed out on the water. He was very informative and fun! The mangroves are beautiful. The water was crystal clear. We saw a bunch of local wildlife and creatures including a brief glimpse of a dolphin, cormorants, lightning and crown conchs, starfish and horseshoe crab. Thanks again, Andrew!

LOVED this experience. Greeted by the owner Andrew he made sure we had a great time. Moving through the mangroves was an unreal experience and so beautiful. George the mascot duck escorts you to the mangroves was the highlight of the trip. So glad we found AMI Paddleboard & Kayak Adventures. Thank you Andrew!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Mangrove Kayak Tour. Andrew and Garrison taught us a lot about the mangroves and all the critters that live in the mangroves as well as in the open water in the bay. We saw cormorants, pelicans, one manatee, mangrove crabs, mangrove jellyfish and mangrove snails ! They taught us about how the tides effect the landscape - very fun excursion.

We did the Eco Tour, and it was amazing! It was our first time paddle boarding, and I highly recommend trying it!! Andrew was Awesome he helped my 9 yr. Old out during the windy part… Of course it was windy on the day we booked, but that didn’t stop us. When the winds in your favor you just sail! Amazing! It was beautiful and peaceful In the mangroves with no wind. We saw starfish, dolphins, crabs, and a shark right by my board! Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend AMI Paddleboard & Kayak for a vacation experience that is only minutes from any point on AMI. It's a healthy and fun way to maybe get away from the beach for awhile and experience a relaxing tour around the Neal Preserve.
The guides (Andrew, Tara, Garrison) were all understanding of everyone in the group's level of experience and helpful to anyone they saw struggling. We are so happy to have tried paddle-boarding for the first time and this was the place to do it. My daughter rode on the front of my board, while my wife and our 14 y/o son each had their own. There was another family from MA with us and they chose kayaks and we had an enjoyable time together.
*Very cool seeing cormorants swimming around and under our boards as our paddles stirred up the shallow waters. Tara showed us some fairly big conch and we also learned about the oyster beds that are necessary to filter the warm waters of the bay. Hope this review helps!
