Manatee School of Arts-Science

This is my daughter's first year at this school. She is a very bright student; however, she gets a little "sassy" at times and needs to be held accountable for her actions. The principal and teachers here have welcomed her with open arms from Day 1 and have been instrumental in developing my daughter into a responsible, kind and empathetic person. I was looking for a smaller school where my child could learn in an environment where she would know everyone and feel comfortable. I applaud the principal and teachers for their hard work and dedication to helping our children grow in to responsible, smart and hard-working members of society who take responsibility for their own actions and learn from them.

Great school! Last year my daughter attended a differnt school and wasn't doing great. Her teacher was concerned she wouldn't pass. I moved to Bradenton and switched her to this charter school (last school was PCS also charter) and she has been a straight A student all year with one B!!! Amazing teacher great staff good atmosphere.

I went here from K-5 and I loved it. I'm currently in 7th grade and am a mostly A student (with the occasional B but that's very rare.) A lot has happened since I've left, so I've heard. In my opinion i think it was the changing of the principal. The old principal Mrs.Jolly was a VERY awesome principal and also very supportive. Mr.j (her son) was also a great arts teacher. Though currently the now sixth graders and even staff members that I've kept in touch with have not really been sharing the best stories. But over all for me it was a great experience.
