Brought my bike to James to get the rear tire and turn signals replaced on my 05' Yamaha Warrior. Did both in a timely manner. I also brought it in as I had a small oil leak under the bike. The end solution was to instead of just replacing things, he put some UV dye in the oil so the leak could be pinpointed and check in a few days. If it comes back, he said to bring the bike back. I am good with that solution. Thanks James!
I was referred by a friend who spoke highly of James at Precision Wrench and he did not disappoint. I have a 2015 Corvette and am very particular about who I want working on my car. Left the car here to have something checked out and the issue was fixed that day. Very impressed with James - he is highly professional & knowledgeable and he is very friendly which can be rare these days. I will definitely be coming back for my future needs. Thank you guys!
While on vacation in Sarasota May 3, my daughters and I experienced a problem with our battery which ended up being the alternator. A very helpful sales associate at the O’Reillys ( wish I could remember his name) suggested Precision and another shop. We called the other first with no answer but spoke with James and explained our problem and had the car towed there. He was very understanding and helpful, even to the point of bringing us back to our hotel while he did the repair. The repair was quick and affordable. James also retrieved us from the hotel after the repair. I am very grateful for such an honest mechanic who did not take advantage of 3 out of town women but instead took great care of us, allowing us to enjoy the rest of our vacation. I would highly recommend him for any service needed.
A honest, trustworthy, capable, and straightforward mechanic.
Had a big job of a head gasket replacement for my 2007 Honda CRV. He gave me a great and straight forward quote and stuck with it! He let me know updates throughout the process, installed a new battery and some tires (which I supplied) for free. Unfortunately my vehicle also needed a new cylinder head (because it was warped), which he ordered with a warranty and installed without extra charges, except the price of the cylinder head itself. Overall he did a very professional and honest job! Will definitely use them in the future.
Man, I have been putting off writing this review for far too long (too busy, and forgetful). I have been going to James, owner operator of Precision Wrench for what seems to be much longer than a year, at first he had been recommended to us by the Shop owner at DLM Exhaust in Sarasota who couldn't speak highly enough about James and the quality of his character and his work! We went to James that one time, and had been going back ever since!
First off, he's honest! When it comes to mechanics, that is right up there with pricing! James has never charged me more than what was agreed upon, EVER! His word is Bond! He will go to Infinity and Beyond for his customers, and that alone keeps him rolling in repeat business....as it should! You can tell, he enjoys what he does, and it is reflected in his work and his customer service which is also top notch!
James Pricing is always fair, highly competitive, and he warranties his repairs for his customers peace of mind (*restrictions apply like all shops, but if you let James get your parts, etc. you are covered 100% including labor!)
I told James that I would write my honest and thorough review....I am writing all of this as a true to life, honest, and real repeat customer, who has been treated the same on the 20th visit as I was on my very first visit, like family! Hope this helps some of you looking for the best, most honest mechanic in town, look no further than James at Precision Wrench! -Robert
