Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the Pier

We have been meaning to check out this restaurant for a few years and finally made the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the experience both visually and gastronomically. The outdoor deck is completely covered and offers panoramic views of the bay. Even on a warm day, the Gulf breeze was comfortably sufficient to keep the temperature pleasant. Our waiter was congenial and every one of his recommendations was spot on. The grouper, wolf fish, and salmon we had was excellent and the side dishes of red potatoes, grits, and coleslaw were as generous as they were tasty. The ambiance, great food, and spectacular desserts provided a wonderful milieu for us to catch up with old friends. I must add that their prices are quite reasonable especially considering we dined on fresh seafood. The only caveat I would offer is parking close to the restaurant can be challenging, but there is a shuttle that regularly makes the rounds from beachfront parking to all the shops and restaurants on Bridge Street.

Great Lunch spot. We had short wait. Wonderful waitress. We started with the oysters. We did a platter of 12. Tequila and lime is my favorite, the others were delicious too. Their shrimp appetizer with spicy sauce over coleslaw was delicious. My husband had Cesar salad with the fresh catch of the day. Once you finish walk the pier and enjoy the view.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at this restaurant! Every bit of food was great, including the grouper, which was cooked perfectly and the calamari appetizer with a unique chunky tomato sauce dip. All the service was great and our waiter Mike took good care of us and made us laugh. The location is convenient and beautiful on the Pier. The interior and exterior spaces were stylish but comfortable and everything was very clean. The staff wore face masks (properly!) and our utensils were given to us in a paper sleeve. I only wish this restaurant was in my town so I could I more frequently!

Had lunch there today and it was great value with a free drink when you order an entree which was very good and reasonable. Worked for us! We have been before several times and enjoy seeing the Pelicans on the pier. Great views on all sides of the water and boats. Mike was our server and his Manager should never let him go! Cheerful, expert service throughout!! He's a keeper! Thank you Mike!

Our family came here after a day on the beach. We have 5 kids and 2 adults and they took care of every need. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Our server, Sean gave great suggestions and made sure everyone was happy. We got a variety of dishes and it was all delicious! The oysters were amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
