My wife and I built a new home in Port Charlotte. Just a few short months after moving in, we noticed that we were having problems with the water quality. Dry, rough, cracked hands, discoloration on the faucets and shower heads, etc. we contacted our builder who sent out the company that installed the soft water system on our home. The water tested at over 2600 tds (salt). This should have been caught by our builders water guy during initial installation. Needless to say we were not going to use them to fix our water needs. I contacted multiple water companies about a reverse osmosis system for my home and growing family. After talking with multiple companies we decided on Aqua Systems. Not because of the price (even though it was more than fair) but because of their knowledge, friendliness, and being family owned and operated. Mike knows his stuff and did not leave any doubt in my mind that he was the guy for our job! He answered all of my questions with confidence and even threw in some information that I didn’t even think of asking. When/if there is a problem they are quick to come out and take care of it. Nick (very nice guy too! Very knowledgeable and didn’t mind me hovering while he worked) came out and installed our system in late January early February 2020. Nick also answered any questions I had during installation and helped us figure out a breaker issue we had. Immediately after installing and getting it running the TDS in our water went from 2600+ to 90. I check the TDS levels regularly, now 4 months later the tap water TDS is usually between 70-75. We have a smaller R/O under the kitchen sink that is connected to a spout on the counter as well as the refrigerator the TDS from there is usually 4-6 on average. We opted in for the monthly maintenance plan, some may think this is a waste of money, but for us it is an investment. Anytime we are low on salt or chlorine all I have to do text Mike and they come out and refill the salt as well as make sure everything is running properly and efficiently! I could not be more happy with this system!
Side Note: if you have a fish tank R/O water is amazing for it! We fill gallon jugs for my father in laws fish tank, his tank has never been more clean & clear! The fish are so healthy and happy with the R/O water versus just PC city water.
*We have a double membrane R/O system with 2 300 gallon storage tanks.
*We have well water not city water
