Neal Kansara, MD

Called February 1st at 2pm EST, to report swollen, red left eye. Office said to come at 2:45pm so Dr. could evaluate the eye. Arrived at 2:35pm and Dr. saw me 15 minutes later, who reassured me that the eye would heal on its own within 3 weeks. I take blood thinners so healing make take longer. Eye is fine and I can see clearly even driving at night.
I was very impressed with the office and the Dr. who examined my eye.

It was a great visit, The staff all went out of their way to be helpful. Dr Kansara was easy to talk to, friendly and put you at ease. I cannot say enough about how superlative he was.

Dr was running a little late but so was I. I've been going to this practice for years and the wait time was under average. The Dr was very kind and was efficient at examining my eyes. Great at explaining what he's doing and why he's doing it. Made the medical talk, English. A very good Dr w a good bedside manner.

Clean, efficient cordial and welcoming staff. Very short wait time. I arrived within 10 minutes of my scheduled time and was attended to right on time. Everything was clearly explained to me and had an opportunity to ask questions. The doctor was friendly and jovial and made me feel he was 100% focused on me and did not seem hurried to see the next patient. The support staff were great and seemed to know what to do to prep me by gathering pertinent information before the doctor attended to me.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The Optometric Assistants were outstanding. Dr. Kansara was very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained his eye exam observations and completely answered questions. The Coastal Eye Institute was a very pleasant experience.
