The Center for Urgent Care

The staff at this practice are among the best I've encountered. Professional and polite, and timely in service despite being very busy. I had 4 or 5 ladies assist me, and regrettably I didn't catch all their names. The physician's assistant, Katie, did a great job with the sutures I needed. It was a deep wound, so the inner subcutaneous layer needed stitched together before stitching together the outer dermis. She also took precautionary measures and checked on the work of the nurses. She instructed me on care of the injury and the healing process, and made recommendations that I decided were ideal to follow. I highly recommend visiting this medical center if you find yourself in need. I even drove nearly an hour to get there, and am convinced I received better care than I would have in Brandon.

We have had several occasions recently to visit the Center for Urgent Care in Lakewood Ranch. The care was always prompt, compassionate, and thorough. What stands out to me is their follow through with phone calls after visits as well as followup with referrals. They "take the cake" in my book.

The Center for Urgent Care was very kind, thorough and comprehensive when I had to find someone to find out what was going on with my body as I was a hot mess. I left the office after running many tests with an rx, other therapies, a peace of mind and answers to many questions I had. They developed a game plan for the future leaving me with hope. I would definitely recommend.

I had occasion to visit today with an excruciating case of gout in my big toe. I have to tell readers of this review that this facility and its incredible staff are absolutely at the top of the list! Exceptionally friendly and welcoming; outstanding medical team; highly personable and caring. All in all, coming from 11 years serving on a hospital board with 4 as its Chair, were only hospitals to function as this Urgent Care does, our world of healthcare would be so much better. Thank you to the staff and to Dr. Avila, the founder, for the vision and the compassionate care

I have to jump on the bandwagon and agree with the positive comments for The Center for Urgent Care. I arrived about 7:45 am today and stood in line about 20 minutes. Got to the desk and Ashley checked me in. I was told my insurance was not accepted and was given options. Took my paperwork to the car and waited to be called. Maybe another 20 minutes passed and the phone rang. Amanda (I think) took vitals, Danny checked me out and Alexis took payment. Quick, friendly and professional. Thanks to all of you! Far better than my (now former) primary care office.
