“I had Anthony’s install a brand new American Standard AC unit and put larger AC ducts. The new unit, installation and duct work cost over $13,000.00. It was installed in 2011 and has not worked properly since day one. I have had Anthony’s come dozens of times over the years because this unit will not go below 77 degrees and will not maintain 78 degrees when we have family gatherings. We are lucky to have it maintain 82-83 degrees when more than 7 people are in the house. The unit is a 2 stage 17 sear. After a couple of years and numerous techs later, they had a person from American Standard come to the house and say that the computer was not installed correctly. This did not change anything. After a while and several techs later they said the AC wouldn’t come out of the first stage so they deactivated it and have it running all the time in stage 2. Still not working as it should. We have the maintenance plan and have it serviced every 6 months and are told it looks fine......it isn’t. We feel stuck with a very expensive unit that is defective and apparently so was the installation. Anthony’s is well aware of the issues and yet have not been able to resolve it for 9 years. This is not standing by your product or service. A bonus to this is that now only running in stage 2 our electric bill is substantially higher. The people at Anthony’s try to be nice but aren’t resolving the well known/documented issue. Lastly, we just had a service yesterday and the company had the nerve to try and sell us a fan cleaning for hundreds of dollars for a faulty unit that is a step away from being a $10,000 paper weight. It would be great if they provided the service/item promised and paid for. UPDATE, I was contacted by the company and they realized the issues that I mentioned on this post. I met with the Service Manager, Beadles, and she observed what the deficiencies were. She then met with the owner, Zeppi, and they made it right. They replaced the faulty unit and assured us of the quality installation. Of course it has been very mild out here, but so far it has been working great. I have to give this company much credit for standing by their product and issues and making it right. There are very few companies that would do this, in this day and age and I applaud them for this. Thanks Anthony’s and you have made us lifetime customers for this act,. You stood by your product and made sure it was right. Thanks again Mike and Beadles!”
