Yum's Karate

This place is very good!
My kids love it and as parents my wife and I are so happy with how they are helping add on to what we as parents are trying to teach them regarding respect, discipline. I would highly recommend it!

Frim the moment you walk in and observe the environment you notice a huge difference in comparison to non-traditional martial arts. Master Yum is terrific and creates a wonderful environment to learn and progress. My son chose Hwa Rang Do when he was four years old. His mother and I told him that if he was still interested in it when he was five we would let him join. On his Fifth birthday he told us he wanted to sign up. He is now almost ten and has been diligently working towards his second degree black belt. Master Yum and Michael do much more than teach a martial art. They teach children, character and commitment. They teach children the values of Family, Country and Teachers. My son lives these values not only because they are important to my wife and I but they are the reinforced in each and every class. We have made great friends through Hwa Rang Do and hope that Nico stays with it forever.

Not your typical run of the mill karate place. It's a brilliant mixture of self defense, mind and body discipline, art and culture. My children have been going for years and I have nothing but the highest compliments for this institution. The owner and employee's have been the same ever since and the same students as well. Which shows that they're helping and changing lives. I got my son involved because he was having trouble focusing in school. this began improving within weeks and he hasn't stopped improving since. I highly recommend "Yum's Karate" Hwa Rang Do to everyone that I can.

Yum’s Hwarangdo is more than just your basic martial arts training center. At Yum’s karate you are welcomed into an atmosphere where you feel like family. It is a place where virtues, inner values, and discipline are paramount. For me personally, it was a perfect environment of camaraderie, discipline, and growth. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to train under and with an incredible group of people who understand that martial arts is first and foremost about honor, respect, and good personal character.
