Nice area for swimming, but at $15/person, you would think some of the boardwalks would have been fixed by now. One quiet trail to walk that's open. Small amount of litter that we were able to pick up and toss along the way.
Built in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC's), this swimming area has been a regional favorite for generations. The is also camping, hiking and canoeing available here as well. This place is beautiful, well maintained and relaxing.
Swimming in the cold spring pool was such a refreshing experience. The water is pretty chilly at first, but once you’re in it feels great, especially on a warm day. The springs are crystal clear and you can even see and swim alongside little fish and minnows darting around, which makes it feel really natural and unique. It’s peaceful and relaxing. A great spot to cool off, float around, and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful place. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. $15 per person at the gate but it was worth it. I definatly would go again but I can see this place getting packed. It's not the biggest spring with the most to explore, but it's worth the visit.
A beautiful spring with steps and ledges surrounding the swimming area. This wasn't our destination, but the more popular springs in the area required a reservation, so this was an alternative suggested. Cool, clean, 72 degree water on hot day was refreshing. Good snorkeling. A restored Millhouse on site to view, and some small trails. No alcohol allowed, no pets in the spring area. Grills are on-site. 14 dollars a person admission.
