“The atmosphere was fun, service good, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The thing I did not like was that I asked for no cilantro (allergic) on my shrimp tacos. First they brought it with cilantro then 10 minutes later they brought the tacos with only shrimp and cheese because the other toppings have the cilantro mixed in. You'd think the server would know this and advise because I would have ordered something different. The plantains and sweet potato fries I tasted from others were good. I was told pork was excellent by others in my party but I didn't try.”

“The first time I went to this church was months ago. We'd just moved to Ocala and I prayed to God that where ever we moved just lead me to a good church. I was just amazed at Pastor Ken's preaching I couldn't get enough of listening to him and how he explained the scriptures was great. It seemed as though the time went to fast. Then I had the pleasure of hearing his son preach WOW just like his dad I'm still going to City Light and still it seems like the time spent listening to Pastor Ken goes to fast. Great church. I truly think anyone that's looking for a good church that Preaches the bible then City Light's is your church. Thanks Pastor Ken for wonderful scriptures and great explanations.”

“The birthplace of Ocala and Marion County. Headquarters of the U.S. Army during the Second Seminole war, 1835 - 1842. Location of the Indian Agency at that time. 2nd dragoons were stationed there at one point, as well as the 7th infantry. The Second Seminole war started here and with the Dade ambush. Osceola and his warriors attacked Indian Agent Wiley Thompson, killing him and Lt. Constantine Smith. After the war, became first courthouse and county seat. Now there is a visitors center, small, but soon to be replaced by a larger, more improved one. At present there are history displays including artifacts from on-site and nature trails, but a full size reproduction of the fort is set to be finished by the end of 2017. The park already has top notch staff and a full program schedule, but even better things are in the works. Stop by and take a stroll through history. If you look close, you might even see a Seminole watching from behind a tree on the trail...”
