“When I relocated to the area four years ago, I sought continuing care from an oncologist.  At my first visit I asked the oncologist for a recommendation for a primary care physician. Dr. Clarissa Abrantes was the first physician I contacted. I was somewhat apprehensive at the first visit, but she quickly put me at ease with her warmth and kind demeanor. I was most impressed that when she walked into the exam room for the first time, she obviously had made the effort to completely review the medical records provided by my previous physician. She continues to impress me with her preparedness. The entire staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Patients are greeted warmly upon arrival. I feel comfortable with both PAs, and I am confident when I see either of them that they and Dr. Abrantes function effectively as a team.  The office staff addresses requests promptly and demonstrates patience when explaining tests and procedures and follow-ups. Requests for refills are handled promptly, and appointments are scheduled in a timely manner.  I am indeed fortunate to have found Dr. Abrantes and her team. Ruthie Fritts”
