“So far I've stopped in several times and have spoken in depth with the mechanics and owner for the plan for my Toyota T100. Walking in, I was welcomed, shown some of their existing projects and quickly realized that this place was a welcomed enigma. What they do to trucks and overland vehicles is superhuman and incredible. EVERY BOLT I saw that had been touched was marked with a special grease pen on something so that they can check for project longevity and any part movement. On top of that, the knowledge that Albert, the owner has on virtually every 4x4 truck to ever be made worldwide is astounding. I've owned a 74' FJ40, an 86 4Runner and now a 97 T100 and I feel like a student when I speak to Albert. The Land Rovers, Toyotas and prime collector-type vehicles sitting in there were trusted to these guys for a reason. I saw some 100k+ builds for people to drive from here to Alaska and around the United States, over mountains, you name it. They came here for a reason. I'm so excited to take my time deciding the direction my overland build will go and have the guys at Stoney's create a masterpiece.”
