Innovative Pediatric Learning Center of Miami (IPLC)

My son began receiving speech therapy at IPLC at 18 months of age due to a minor expressive language delay and oral-motor weakness. Now 26 months old, my son is extremely verbal and has even surpassed many of his peers in his speech and language abilities. He has made good progress with his oral-motor skills as well. The services we receive at IPLC are excellent. Jessica is a fantastic therapist and we feel very fortunate to have her in our lives. I recommend IPLC highly and without reservation to any family seeking speech and language services for their child.

Honestly the moment you walk in you are overwhelmed with comfort and relief, because they are so helpful, reassuring and informative. My baby girl is in the absolute best hands. In a few short weeks she has had a language explosion. If you are researching speech therapists look no further than IPLC. 5 stars honestly isn’t enough, as a mom of 2 under 2 it also helps to work with someone who is understanding Jessica and this group has worked with me through it all! Where do I start? From the moment you walk in, everyone is always smiling and super helpful. Our therapist is a ball of wonderful energy and enthusiasm which is perfect for children. My son recently turned two and has a Specific Language Impairment. Within 3 sessions with our therapist, she successfully used very simple techniques to calm his busy body down, got him to use a sign for "more", introduced new syllables that he quickly took to, and somehow is able to get him to focus on a specific task which is VERY impressive when dealing with a very rambunctious toddler. She is always quick with handouts and articles for me to read over so I truly grasp what and why she's doing what she's doing, and also so I can continue to work with him at home. I drive 30-35 minutes each way, twice a week for our appointments and I can honestly say it's worth every minute and gallon of gas. I am so thankful I was referred to this place!
