Thanks for all that gave us freedom with their life and their efforts. This museum honors the stories of men and women from Florida, Miami and even Cuba who served this great nation. Dr. Atwood was incredible in presentation of history and as well as the emphasis on the stories of the people who made it. In this era of anti-American rhetoric, is important to remember the great heroes that sacrificed so much for the freest country the world has ever known, the United States of America.
Went there for a Veterans Day event. Surprised of the local history in national military history. Definitely would recommend to those who enjoy learning.
Impressive collection of historical documents, well curated. Inside the remodeled building there's also a small WWII library.
What a pleasure and honor it is for me to be a part of this museum's history as one of Eagle Scouts who worked on the grounds. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the museum!
