Gained a customer for life. I brought in my brand new pants because they were slightly to long. I mistakenly told them where to hem the pants to. It was too short. Brought it back in and they fixed it. FOR FREE. Fantastic customer service.

Absolutely top notch tailor. They offer full service alterations at reasonable prices. They will also design and fabricate custom suits for men.
The staff is friendly and very informative. Basil will always give an honest answer even if it means he won't make money. For example, I had a Ralph Lauren winter full-length coat that I bought a couple of years ago. I since gained weight. I brought the coat into Basil and asked him if he could alter it so I would be able to wear it.
He said that there wasn't much room in the seams to do a proper alteration and said that I would be wasting my money trying to alter this coat when I could probably purchase a new one for less money. I admired that answer! He could have swindled me out of money and handed me a bad-looking coat, but he didn't.
All alterations that I have brought to him have been done very quickly, and returned to me pressed and hung. I highly recommend Basil's Tailor Shop for all of your alteration needs.
