(August 1, 2022, 10:06 am)Commissioner Gilbert, is a no nonsense representative that strives to make Miami Dade County a better place for all. But he is also aware of the under representation of Minority owned business in County contracts which receive under 2% percent of these contracts county wide. This is especially true of woman owned businesses. While he voted in favor of resolution for Ukraine he had the courage to speak out against how blacks are treated in that Country. Commissioner Gilbert we are honored and well served to have you as our commissioner!
