Historic Aframe Visitors Center

went in for a quick guide of knowledge of the location and was informed with all the activities they have in the area. i was thrilled to check out some locations and it was all worth stopping for information

The guy was very nice. I am sure he was recommending stuff to do based on his commission, but he had other insights. About the Keys and was fun to talk to. Good place to stop to get your bearings if you have never been in the Keys before.

We stopped here to stretch our legs. We picked up a fishing chart and a sweet map of some great fishing spots and reefs all along the eastern seaboard of the US.

There are a number of "Visitor Centers" at the beginning of the Florida Keys trek, but most of these are deceptive and are attempts to get you to sign up for tours. We stopped at this one and it was no different, except that the people managing the place were very friendly and provided information we needed without offering us additional tours. Very helpful people here! Stop here if you have questions or need help!... and might as well get a tour here if you want one.

In January 2016 we dropped in to this visitors center seeking advice regarding The Keys.
Captain Gary and his assistant were extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us, by booking lodging and tours for us.
They made us feel right at home. As soon as you see this little A-Frame building - "Don't drive by , Drive in".. Thanks for everything, Gary
