Great road for biking. Signage posted for motorists to use caution, 15 or 25 mph speed limits, public washrooms are clean and accessible. Walk to the beach. The off-road trails are often visible from the park roads, but quite narrow, hilly, sand dunes in many spots. To ride these trails you must be a seasoned mountain bike rider with the appropriately equipped bicycle. Helmets are mandatory. $1.00 per person entry is well worth the cost.
Gorgeous place. Fished from the beach on a blustery day and still loved it. Comfortable bathroom facility just off the beach and shower station outside made rinsing off easy and fast. Beautiful scenery. Tons of turtle nest being protected at the base of the dunes. Dont forget to buy your pass ahead of time or scan the QR code at the front entrance to pay to help keep our parks going!
We came to beach walked around in the morning, that was a good experience, people were enjoyed the sea breeze and quiet beach, bring your kids, they will love it.
Hidden Paradise on Amelia Island. Beach Birds and Natures Beauty are abundant. Sunrise to Sunset. Walk the beach and find Sharks teeth.
So beautiful & peaceful! Plenty of parking, very clean! The boardwalk is the nicest one I’ve ever seen. Well lit. We loved exploring around all of the tide pools. Lots of sea life: giant horseshoe crab, many different species of fish, lots of birds…great place to shark tooth hunt. Excellent beach for a family day.
