Amelia Island Paddle Surf Company

Today I had a great experience at paddling in Amelia Island. The weather was simply perfect and the high tide allowed us to discover places that you can’t reach otherwise. We were paddling for 2 hours and our goal was to cross the state border between Florida y Georgia towards the Cumberland Island. There you can see wild horses, white sand beaches, palm trees and more. I have to highlight when we were in the water we came across with a baby shark which was saying hello to us. Finally I’ll say the adventure wouldn’t have been the same if I hadn’t decided to do it with Bobby Greene which is the owner of Amelia Island Paddle Surf Company. Bob is a skilled paddler but above all he is a great guy who always is caring of the big and small details that make your paddle adventure an unforgettable experience. Life has taught me that it is not the service that you buy but the experience that you get. Thanks Bob for being that guy caring of the experience that a client like me is looking for.

Fantastic experience for me and three daughters. Bobby was booked for the day, but was very helpful with options. He but put me in touch with Sean, who was a professional paddle boarder and a very knowledgeable back up. It was a private lesson allowing the four of us to learn how to maneuver the board without the pressure of being first timers. Everyone had fun and Sean was first class. Thanks for a great family experience!

Our guide was very helpful and informative. He taught us several useful techniques for turning, how to hold the paddle correctly, and how to paddle efficiently. We got to go down a river with several obstacles (fallen trees and logs mostly) and also got to paddle under a tree that stretched over the river. We had a lot of fun and I feel I can paddle board safely and easily now.

We were so glad to find Amelia Island Paddle Surf Co. I can't imagine any other business offering this service and doing a better job than Mr. Greene. He was an excellent instructor - patient, informative, and encouraging. The location he chose for our lesson was not crowded and the water was calm making our first time a very smooth and seamless experience. And his price of $75 for an 1&1/2 hour lesson seemed a great value! If I ever get back to Fernandina Beach I would definitely repeat w/Amelia Island Paddle Surf Co.

Our guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in the local wildlife. The tour was unique and memorable. We had no prior experience with standup paddle boarding, but he was an excellent instructor. He gave us step by step instructions and was always looking out for our safety. An amazing time! Will definitely be back for more SUP!
