A nice stop before heading to Florida. They have a clean restroom and full of information booklet about Florida. They serve free juice in here if your thirsty.

This is a great place to pick up information about activities that are available in the state. You can also get a free sample of Orange or Grapefruit juice while you are therte. This is also a rest stop if you are looking for a restroom or some quick snacks for your drive into the state.

This Florida Welcome Center is located along Interstate 95 South coming in from Georgia. The actual welcome center is not on the state line, but rather a few miles in after entering the state. It's not too far past exit 380 (the exit for US 17). My visit here was around 3 pm on August 24, 2022.

When you come into the welcome center, there was ample parking there at the time I was there, but it was getting a bit busier when we were leaving, so it seems there may be times when marking may be at a premium to find. After getting parked, we headed into the main building. As you come up to it, you can see the advertising for Publix, which is a major grocery store in the state (domiciled here in this state). They say to "Shop Like A Local".

Once inside, the place is very spacious. To the left, there is a desk where you can get a sample of juice to choose from. You can choose from orange juice or grapefruit juice. I opted for the orange juice. The inside has lots of info about the state, as well as some themed areas in there, such as the Treasure Coast. There is also an information desk at the northern end of the building. It is this part of the center that you will find the restrooms from the outside. The restrooms were fine and had no issues. They seem to be maintained well. They had several vending options as well. If you need a SunPass, you can actually get those from one of the vending machines here if you need one.

After checking out the inside, I wanted to walk around a bit outside, but not too long due to the heat and humidity, or as I like to call it, hell-midity. They have several animal info signs and examples of their tracks as well. They also have a colorful dolphin statue outside on the grounds. This is part of the "Dolphin Trail" in the state.

Due to the weather (heat, etc.), we didn't stay too long, but did get to see a few things as noted above. However, I didn't get to see everything. That will have to wait another time. The best part though was being able to get out of the car for a bit and get to move the body, since sometimes when in a car for too long, it can cramp your style with your body.

Overall, this was a very nice welcome center. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of stuff you could get here for information if you needed it. In this instance, I didn't need any of that info as we were essentially going to be just passing through the state once we got to I-10 West (eventual destination was Mississippi). If your travels bring you to this welcome center, this place is definitely worth stopping into and checking out.

Very nice stop, it’s a great place to stretch your legs. There are several things to look at and even some photos ops without the crowds. Look of maps, flyers and brochures for the whole state of Florida. They even give away Florida orange 🍊 and grapefruit juice. They have large clean restrooms and plenty of parking.

Lots of car & semi parking. Bathrooms are big and clean. Touchless soap & water. Good vending selections, including coffee & sunpass for toll roads. If you are going to Orlando, I highly recommend getting a Sunpass. Saves time and money.
