Damascus Community Church

I just love Chuy’s and for Tex-Mex there really is nothing better in the Orlando area. From their fun and funky decor to their delicious chips and salsa that you can’t get enough of, you are in for a treat before you even start your meal. I usually get the fajitas but everything on the menu is delicious, filling and priced right. Service at this location is generally a little better than their I-Drive one and their outdoor seating area is a bit quieter than the inside. This is a staple in the restaurant rotation for me and I can’t wait for my next meal there!

Great experience at Chuy's. Our waiter was very attentive, quick and friendly. Everyone loved the food including the kids. The 8 year old just wanted to eat the food of the everyone else instead of her "safe bet" burger which ended up in a doggy bag. We did soft tacos, fajitas and the famous Elvis Memorial Combo which never disappoints. The place was very clean and organized. You get a lot of food for the price here. This is a place I would recommend go to again.

This establishment have so much character. From the time you walk into the door you have a nice greeter and it just make you want to just look around. The food that I ordered was amazing and my only advice would be just to dust there is a lot of build up dust on the vents and on a lot of the decorations it's too pretty in there for it to be that Dusty.

Quantity is amazing at this place. This is a place that you will enjoy great spicy and hot Mexican food. Absolutely value for money because of the quantity of food that you will get. If you have a small appetite then would suggest share food with someone… and get another appetiser…

Do try the beef tacos and the enchiladas!

Ate here in the restaurant and at the bar during our recent January 2022 visit to the area... Both times service was right on point!!! Everything we ordered was hot and fresh and tasted great... Bartender was all over it, between taking care of the restaurant by himself and having a full bar he was superb... The chips and salsa are good but that white sauce you can get is unique and darn good... Strongly suggest giving this place a try, or five

Eric's story is ours. One other thing: no fear on the part of preaching the Gospel. What a refreshing change it was from the "trendy", watered down sermons we were used to, before coming to Damascus. Glad it is not a mega church. The people are all enthusiastically involved in the ministries at Damascus, too.

From the very first time to set foot on the campus in 1991, we fell in love with DCC family!!!! If anyone is looking for a solid, family oriented, Bible based, loving community, you've GOT to visit.

Feels the way a church is supposed to feel. Pleasantly surprised at how many people serve in ministry.

After attending a local church for 20 years that had grown to mega-proportions, we felt a calling to a smaller congregation. Our son had been attending Damascus Christian School, a vital ministry of Damascus Community Church, so we already knew many people who attended the church. We always enjoyed the intimate feel of Damascus and the friends that we had made through the school. So after looking at several other churches, we found our home at Damascus. It is just the right size for us, gives the opportunity to get to know others easily and to recognize many people when at church events. There is a warm sense of community at Damascus with many age and interest-appropriate groups to get involved with. Damascus is a Gospel-centered, Bible-teaching church that takes seriously the call to outreach both locally and globally.
