My experience with Dr. Shanmugam was nothing short of perfect. I recently moved out of NC and wanted to write a farewell review for her.
I was a patient of hers for several years and her skills are unparalleled. We tried multiple medications and combinations of medications until we found the best one.
She listens very carefully and asks the RIGHT questions to her patients. She is fairly easy to reach via the patient portal.
She is ALWAYS knowledgeable in the new medicines emerging in the market and even goes so far as helping to find the right pharmacy and manufacturer coupons to keep the costs low.
If you are invested in your mental health and truly want to work closely with your doctor, then I highly recommend dr shanmugam.
