This place is probably one of the nicest Disney resorts. It's a Hawaiian themed place with so many great sites. It is themed perfectly. The show at night was amazing. Tip: Park here instead of the normal Magic Kingdom parking lot, then take the monorail directly to the park. It's much easier to get back to your car at night.
Love the Polynesian Resort. It IS very pricey, but that is to be expected considering it is a top tier resort. The rooms are nice and keep with the Polynesian theme throughout, though you could get a similar room for much less off resort. The advantage to staying on property, of course. is the extra care and convenience. You have the monorail that runs through the resort and can be the fastest method of getting to Magic Kingdom. While you're there, make sure to try the Dole Whip. It's much more convenient than waiting while you're at the parks.
This is my favorite of the Disney resorts I’ve stayed in. The food is delicious! The rooms are spacious. The theme is over the top (in a great way) and captures the spirit and culture of the South Pacific spot-on. The luau is a must-do. You won’t be sad you chose this resort. Bonus: it’s on the monorail line, so travel is super easy.
A wonderful resort to enjoy a tropical vacation at beautiful Disney World. This resort hits you with a Hawaii vibe as soon as you arrive at check-in. A beautiful lobby with more than meets the eye, if you head up a floor you’ll find convenient transportation access to the monorail which takes you to the Magical Epcot and Magic kingdom parks. The pool is unique and beautiful with a gorgeous view of Cinderella’s castle in your horizon. Although staying at the main pool might make you crazy do to the large amount of traffic it attracts from kids and families. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat to the pool, you better hope the children have been put to sleep because the main pool is always packed. The beach bungalows looks very picturesque and help accommodate large spenders or large families.
The staff are friendly and accommodating to meet your needs. They are always willing to work with you and make your stay the most magical. The resort is wonderful and deserves a visit if you are looking for a tropical getaway.
This is my favorite resort in Disney property. I just love how it immerses you in Hawaiian culture. You feel like you're in the islands. We especially enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha dinner show and the Lilo and Stitch breakfast. The food and service were awesome. And with a family member with food allergies, they had no problem ordering food at either location.
