I went for a visit and the residents were very content and happy in the reflections area ... It was a very touching to see them so responsive to Penny their new activities director... They really enjoyed her positive attitude... She also took us on a tour of the over all facility... All of the staff and residents in the other areas were very pleasant.... I hope that they continue their excellent service for many years to come...
I can honestly say the the recent reviews seem to be sabotaging. I have toured Golden Pond and moved both of my parents in recently as 2 weeks ago. This facility is clean and so full of love. I ate lunch there with my parents and the food was absolutely as good as a 5 Star Fine Dining.
The staff were all very happy and attending to our needs. The Executive Director, Sheila sat down and talked to us while we were eating. She is a very lovely lady and you can see how much she is loved by everyone. She did say the Golden Pond will be undergoing renovations in the next couple of weeks. This place is already absolutely a very stunning facility.
We chose Golden Pond because the love that is felt between staff and the residents that reside there. I am telling anyone reading this review to go see Golden Pond for yourself. The negative reviews are way off base and absolutely cannot be true. Maybe disgruntle past employees as now all new manager's have taken over. You will not be dissatisfied with Golden Pond. It is fabulous!
Golden Pond has such caring staff. It was nice to see staff so attentive to the residents. The residents voiced they have great food and activities.
