  As the Community Relations Director at Watercrest Winter Park I am the typically your first point of contact. My position is to help you and your loved ones understand what senior living really is and what life in our community looks like on a daily basis for your loved one. For most this is new uncharted waters and it can also be a very emotional and stressful time . Know that I am here to answer your questions, hold your hand, laugh, cry, wipe tears, and walk beside you the entire time.   I went on a tour of this community when it first opened up a few months ago. This place is BEAUTIFUL ! Maryann Howell is one of the best directors I know in the area! After working with several different Assisted living communities in Orlando, this is by far THE MOST BEAUTIFUL Community I’ve seen. I refer all the families I speak to this community just because it speaks for itself. They even have a personal chef on site, a salon, a bakery, it’s incredible. I can go on and on but If I could give 6 stars I would! Great job Watercrest!

  I speak for each one of our residents and staff when I say that we truly have a very special group of people at our community. At Watercrest Winter Park, you can't help but feel the camaraderie and strong relationships formed inside our community. If I could impart only one piece of wisdom and advice that I've learned over the years, it is to place the utmost importance on the people you put around you -- those who will provide the personal services that make life so easy, as well as those who will become your closest neighbors for all the years ahead of you. Watercrest Winter Park is dedicated to residents who want a lifestyle where they can age successfully, experience a great dining program, and participate in numerous programs and activities. Our team members enhance our residents’ lifestyle because of their kindness, caring hearts, and dedication. Families and friends enjoy visiting our residents in their beautiful home. In addition, whether you are looking for yourself or your adult child is looking for you, we offer a continuum of care based on your loved one’s needs including Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our residents are able to remain in the same community no matter their care needs, and we take pride in knowing each of our residents receive personalized services tailored to their individual needs.
  As your Executive Director, I demand a high level of care in our community. A large part of my role at Watercrest Winter Park is to maintain our legacy of offering the very best in personal services, whether your priority is having the same housekeeper week after week or never having to tell the dining room how you like your dinner prepared. It is absolutely our pleasure to serve our residents, and that is one of the most common reasons why residents chose Watercrest Winter Park. We provide monthly wellness checks and coordination of care services in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhood. Our nurses and resident care specialist are trained to take care of our residents’ specific needs. Our new employees receive extensive training and all of our team members are trained to care for our residents who have dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

  Watercrest Winter Park is now open and we are accepting residents! I have been an employee with Watercrest since our first building in 2016. I am now the Environmental Services director at our location in Winter Park. My job to ensure our building is maintained in a safe clean environment for our residents to enjoy. Its not uncommon to find me performing routine maintenance to the building, or helping out a resident preparing and setting up their room, running a men's club program in our community room or simply gardening out back with residents. All this is what its all about, the relationships we build with our residents and that is why I am happy to be apart of this community. Please don't hesitate to stop in and see us and the difference we can offer you and your family!
