After checking in I was horrified at the balcony room provided. It was so absolutely far away from elevator, it was adjacent to the construction mayhem (wouldn’t have been able to use balcony from all the construction dust) and the unit itself smelled off. It took a quick visit to the front desk where they helped us into another room that was as beautiful as I remember from previous visits. We had a great time! My children got to make pizzas, the people there were so nice and helpful. Pools were great, only complaint is that the wave pool needs someone a little more attentive- my kid and I struggled a bit, we’re strong swimmers, but someone who isn’t would be in danger.
I’m writing this as I am still at the hotel. This place really is amazing and great service. Abbas from security team is amazing. He helped us get to Sunset lodge were we was staying at, then later on that day he helped us open our safe and he also was so patient as we was speaking to him he was answering all of our questions about the property and telling us where everything is and all pool and activities my kids could do around there and the arcade! We truly appreciated his help.
This place is great...stayed for a soccer tournament. Soccer fields are amazing grass, literally the best I have ever seen. It is expensive but you don't have to leave the resort unless you want to. You have to pay for everything at the resort, including water and coffee, but convenience costs money, which is fair. Traffic is crazy around the resort, so trying to leave is hard. There are several great places to eat or buy supplies with in a 15 minute nice walk. I don't play golf but the many courses, including putt putt looked awesome. All the many pools are amazing and fishing is Great. Lots of wildlife around including big gators. Resort workers were all helpful and nice. They will shuttle you around in a golf cart, even to the end of the driveway. Thinking of coming back next year.
If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the parks then this is your spot. It takes about 45-50 minutes to get to and from the parks. Rooms are adequate, although for the premium price your paying I would expect better quality. The guest services individuals working the resort were very courteous and helpful. Make sure when booking you advise them you would like a room in the main building, if not you will be walking an additional 10-15 minutes to get to all the resort amenities.
