“A Blessed Academy is a great school, the staff is attentive and available. I've been there 3 years and the experience has been great and gets better every year! I love that they are Christian based and have zero tolerance for bullying. For some reason the address hasn't updated, its 1901 Poinciana blvd suite 106. Five stars!”

“My son loves Little Einstein's Daycare. It's a great learning environment. They have lesson plans for group settings and also tailored to the individual child. It's affordable and they take great care of the children. I would recommend this Daycare to anyone in the area. My only request would be for the Daycare to have extended hours. However we prefer this Daycare so much we make it work around our schedules.”

“Nice, but short boardwalk through the swamp to Reedy Creek. Worthwhile if you only want a short walk, but not if you want a longer hike. The Pine Woods and Indian Mound Trails are not maintained at all.”

“I go to avant garde academy and I love it . This has been my second year here . Every one is sweet kind and nice. The staff is very friendly and funny . The teachers are amazing . Only one teacher doesn't teach but everyone else is fine . They don't have a real nurse but there is a room with first aid kids and medical supplies. The secretary is technically the nurse. There's a basketball court and a field. The principal is a nice and caring guy. But he extended our ours of school to 4:30 but every Wednesday we get out at 2:30 . He did that because he wanted for us to score good on the FSA . But after all everything is great I feel like a family there . I recommend you to enroll your child into this school”

“Excellent school, a lot of teacher have been here for Many maaany years. (Happy Teacher's that want to stay, = well taught happy children) They offer a variety of wonderful programs and host numerous events that are so much fun! School breakfast and lunch is completely free, the principle and assistant principle are so easy to contact. The only people I see complain are parents who have children that do not do well in school, for lack of parenting seemingly. Parents MUST be involved, they do everything they can to have parents involved in their children's education. My daughter is third generation attending the school, and I have no complaints.”

“One of the best schools in the area. The staff is great, and helpful. Mrs.Rodriguez is the best. The principal Mr.Banks is always there for the parents if they voice a concern. Never had a problem with this school. I Love how you can communicate with the teachers for the best interest of your child without any issues.”

“Obviously the bad reviews probably come from students who were outed of the school for poor behavior, or an adult who does not place truth as a priority. I am both a parent and a teacher at the school, and I can attest to the fact that the school does not serve junk food for lunch. Students get well balanced meals. If this were not so, the school would not have passed all inspections with flying colors. Students are also welcomed to bring their own lunches. Teachers are all certified and love working there. I have not yet heard one complain in seven years. When they leave, it is because of personal reasons and usually in good terms. If they are invited to leave, it is because poor performance on a teacher's behalf is not tolerated. Students deserve the best. As with many other private schools in the area, the premises are a bit limited in terms of a basketball court. Regardless of this, PHA does have competitive sports teams, and even a cheerleading squad. Teams use other premises for practice and compete against other schools. All of this information can be corroborated through their Facebook page as well as the website. They also have an excellent Naval Sea Cadet program. There you will see photos and plenty of reliable information on the school. Also, PHA is perfectly safe. Teachers are properly trained in CPR and First Aid. None are allowed to work if not properly certified in both of these. The premises are closed to vehicles during Physical Education. Cars are not allowed to enter or leave that particular area, (there is a gate that remains closed during PE) and visitors are forced to park elsewhere. Students rate higher than any other private school in the area on their SATs, and this could be corroborated as well. With so many private schools opening and closing within three years due to poor management, PHA has demonstrated that it exceeds expectations. It has been in business for approximately ten years now, and it opened a second campus in Kissimmee three years ago. I understand that while there is room for improvement, there is no need to lie on a public forum. The love of God is shown through and through, and we see this in the positive changes that many students go through after having been submitted to a rough public school environment prior to entering PHA. Many do not adjust well to good and positive discipline and reinforcement, because they want to continue behaving like they did where they came from. Unfortunately for them, PHA is not willing to compromise a high standard of education, ethics and discipline for a few individuals who are not willing to abide by the rules. I highly recommend Pleasant Hill Academy, and suggest anyone interested in further information to visit, not only the website, but also the premises in person. Blessings. Mrs. R. ”
