“WONDERFUL school. My daughter and I moved to Florida in 2016 from Puerto Rico, my daughter does NOT speak SPANISH so her adjustment honestly wasn't an issue, but she unfortunately went to another school that was NOT up to our standards, from a straight A student she barely passed 2nd grade. My daughter has some special needs that the teachers in her old school couldn't understand! I had asked for a phone meeting and at the end of the first semester, NEVER got it. THANKFULLY I moved to another school zone where Sunrise is my daughter's school and oh my goodness the difference is insanely good! My daughter's grades sky rocketed, the teacher responds to any concerns immediately and, the school? You can just feel that they truly care about the child's needs. The teacher agreed with my concerns, took them seriously despite my young age and is working with my daughter :) Amazing school! We're in the process of moving again and refuse to move out of the school zone JUST for this school!”

“this school is pretty decent to be honest it really depends on how you act and stuff the teachers are great classrooms are great. there is a lot of space and there are also good after school activities an also in school time activities there are sports you can play like basketball and gym if you like. but the thing is the lunch is where the not so good stuff comes in: poorness on the main food like cheeseburgers are like wet and stuff: the pizza are not always cooked all the way though and ETC... but in all horizon middle school is a good school to be in ;)”

“Our Child has been enrolled in this school since it was opened the first day. Yes the school has gone through some ups and down with staff leaving for other schools but that happens in all schools when there is a teacher shortage in the area. My child loves the school the teachers and staff have always been helpful and courteous, in most cases I've seen teachers go above and beyond expectations. As a parent you have to be involved in your Child's education and not just expect that the teachers and school staff are going to do all the work for you. I'm involved as a volunteer and also with my child during home work time and it makes a great difference. I highly recommend this school and I ask all parents to attend the informational meetings that are regularly given. Parents that say there is no communication are the ones that fail to attend the meetings. I love our school and so does my child. Remember the student makes the school and the parents involvement makes the student successful. So lets work together and make our children' successful in life.”

“I want to start off by saying it's a pretty good school they help all kids out by making sure they keep their grades up and planning for their future wish I had something like this when I was growing up my kids been attending the school for two years now not the reason that I gave it 4 stars is you gotta make sure you ask questions there's a couple of things that I wasn't aware of for example there's a test that I have to pay for especially if they're in the lower grades 8 through 10 cut me a little bit off by surprise but other than that the teachers there are usually awesome”
