Huge well maintained part.
Lots to see.
The Cracker Farmstead at Riverbend Park has many exhibits including an operational early 20th century sawmill.
It is also the site of Palm Beach Counties annual Pioneer Family Farmstead Day where you can learn how to make sugar cane syrup the hard way and the easy way. Sugar Cane “Juice” is a popular beverage in many places where sugar cane is grown. Of course, some folks prefer to make Rum with it.
An antique Goldens' Cane Mill was being powered by enthusiastic volunteers. According to one ad that I found online, it looks like they were designed to be powered by horses.
Nearby a Novo hit-and-miss engine was driving an early 20th century Chattanooga Model 70 Sugar Cane Mill.
