River Road Park Tower

The tower is nice, overlooking a forest area. The trails in and around there are nice and well kept. However, they don't have any type of trail markers except for colored posts. Nothing telling you where you are. Keep that in mind if you've never been there; we got a bit lost but thankfully you get cell reception there and my GPS led us back to the parking lot.

Awesome park with great facilities. Very clean. Well marked trails. Canoe launch, observation tower, playgrounds and picnic areas. Also many primitive campsites. All free to use.(except for camping). Bonus Florida trail loop right outside park perimeter. We will definitely return. Very friendly staff as well.

Beautiful view from the tower. Nice playgrounds for the kids. Hiking trails that are both paved and natural. There is also a small boat ramp but I've never used it.

This place is always a good time. There are plenty of wide open spaces for the kids to run around. The pavilions are clean and orderly and the restrooms are always clean. You won't be disappointed with this cozy little gem of a park.

This is a Hidden Gem. There is a great tower that's about a half a mile walk very secluded and always quiet. There is a nice playground with tall slides that my boys love. There's also a small Boardwalk where you can go down and see the river off of a little fishing dock.
