The maintenance crew was fantastic, as always. But, on another matter, the situation in the front office is an issue. I don't know any of the details of why Sucoya and Brooklynn no longer are at Sweetwater, but I think that's a big loss for the community. I always thought they were very professional and cared about the residents. Since they've been gone, the office hours have been inconsistent and there has been an ever-changing crew of fill-ins from other communities owned by the same corporation. I'm not saying those fill-ins are incompetent or bad by any means, but it would be nice to once again have stability and continuity in the front office.
Love to live at Sweetwater! It's really quiet, staff very friendly and helpful! Had some problems at the beginning with our AC that wasn't working they came to our apartment to fix it at least 6 times and every time they said it was fixed but it wasn't, we were asking them to replace it but they wouldn't listen to us, so one day they decided to do it and everything worked fine. Besides that, Sweetwater was so far one of the best place to live for sure!
I love the staff here, everyone is very kind and genuine, especially the maintence men! I loved this apartment when myself and my boyfriend first moved in, it is a spacious 2 bed and 2 bath unit with laundry included. Over the past year we have started to become more upset. You are forced to pay $5 a month for gabage that piles up and stenches up the entire community. You also have ants and other bugs constantly, and you are lucky if you only have to wait a week for an exterminator to come. You also pay an significant amount of money for amenities you can't even use, the pool has been closed for a month now. There has been several car break-in's in our community, and nothing has been done about this. Not to mention our rent going up almost $400 for no reason at all. When we first moved in our base rent (before utilities) was $1269.00 NOW it is $1,600.
Update -
The new property manager Sucoya is very professional and very communicative. She reached out to me to discuss my conerns and any questions I had in regard to our community. She expressed that she has hired new office staff and looking to hire more. They are also working actively on making our community feel more like home! She is ordering new patio furniture for the pool, exapanding the dog park, painting our apartment doors and painting the shutters, they are repaving the entire community, she has hired an new landscaping company, and she as well hired a new garbage company, and there is more i am sure of :) For everyone else is dealing with the higher rent increase, she reassured me that the extra money is going towards our beautiful neighborhood and they are not stashing our money like previous management. I am grateful we now have management that cares about their residents. Having Sucoya reaching out had me realize we are under much better management now and they genuniley care about our community and doing everything to make us happy and most importanly feel safe.
