Tops American Grill and Cafe

We had seen this in our searches so many times looking for something different to eat, but never really made it here. I am SO glad we were finally able to make it in!!!!! When you pull in, you don't think it will be much....not because the outside looks bad, because it was VERY clean and VERY nice!!! It just looks small, HOWEVER...Walk inside to such a nicely decorated, CLEAN, dining room. We were immediately greeted and told to sit wherever. Large booths and spacious tables make it easy for groups and families to enjoy their meal without sitting on top of each other. The owner came out and explained the menu to us and answered all of our questions. We got there around 2:30 and my fiancée wanted to try the chicken but didn't want to make them stay later because she said it would take about 30 mins for it to cook...The owner said it didn't matter and order it anyway. (She was absolutely AMAZING!! Sweet as PIE!!!) We ordered a 4 piece chicken to share because we don't eat very much and we ABSOLUTELY could have gotten a 2 piece to share!!! THIS CHICKEN IS SO GOOD!!! HUGE breaststroke, and the outside is so crispy and FULL of flavor!!! The menu has SO many things that we want to try! If you haven't been here, YA NEED TO GO! It is SO good!!! ALL the food is made to order and fresh. She did tell us that there a wait on the weekends and they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Y'ALL, THEY EVEN HAVE MADE FROM SCRATCH PIES (Apple, BLUEBERRY, Cherry, AND CHEESECAKE!!!) We will ABSOLUTELY be back. I can't WAIT to try the chicken salad!!!

I had an amazing visit to Tops. It was a 6 minute bike ride for me and I would’ve biked 60. Amy was a delight; swift with the coffee and a fun attitude. I had the chicken tender salad- house made chicken tenders! Can’t wait to come back for the sausage gravy (they were out). 6/5 stars 😎

I eat out at restaurants about 2-3 times a month on average.
But when I found tops restaurant I have been a loyal customer for the last 4 months eating or taking out lunch 4-5 days a week.
Excellent Friday all you can eat "fish fry" but you can also get your fish blackened or broiled.
The Fried Chicken, The Omelets, The Reubens , The grilled chicken cutlet parmesan with pasta are all finaminal!!
Bottom line is if you want fresh cooked food eat a meal here at this wonderful family run restaurant you won't be disappointed.

Love this place. 😍 been here a few times and every time everything is delicious and fresh . The biscuits are amazing. Mary and Harry ,the owners are very nice. This is my new go to breakfast place. ,🥰
