Hired Danita Handlin with this office for my family law/child case. She was very honest, professional and proficient. Always returned my calls and emails timely and explained every question I had to a tee and got my case closed quickly. If I could rate her more than 5 stars I would give her 10! I came to Audrey to handle my divorce about 10 years ago. From the moment I arrived she made me feel comfortable and calm and assured me everything would go smoothly and that she would do everything she could to make sure me and my children would be protected and she did just that. Both she and her staff were excellent, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly they made what I thought was going to be a long and worrisome event into a simple and straightforward situation that went off without any issue. I recently needed assistance in getting an order from the court for permission to get passports for my children. After 10 years I walked into Audrey’s office and it seemed like it was only yesterday I had been there, she remembered me and my case and was so amazingly kind as to help me right then and there with everything I needed, I was once again expecting a long drawn out affair and she assured me this would be quick and painless and it most certainly was! The kindness and generosity that Audrey and her staff have shown me, I would never go anywhere else. I have highly recommended her to anyone who asks me if I know a good lawyer for family law. I can never find the words to thank Audrey for all shes done for me and my children that we have peace of mind and freedom to travel now! It's taken me so long to write a review for Audrey because I can hardly find the words to thank her. How do you thank someone who has protected your family and given us the resolution we needed to create a great life again? Audrey is so genuinely humble that she probably won't take the credit, but we think of her with heartfelt gratitude every day. She put things right again. Audrey Jefferis is an advocate for you. She is direct and honest and will tell you the limitations of the legal system and the limitations of your case - she won't give you false promises - but what she will do is absolutely everything that is within her power to help you. She is highly respected by the courts and other legal representatives, and this in itself is a tremendous advantage in court. She didn't judge us, even when we were high strung and desperate with anxiety and even when we were embarrassed by some of the details of the family situation. She is caring and kind, honest and accessible. She seems tireless. Her office is well organized and communicative.
