Life Care Center of New Port Richey

I’m here with students as a nursing instructor - I have been to many nursing homes/rehabs and assisted living facilities — I feel like the staff are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs . The residents seem well taken care of and happy . It seems as if the establishment has adequate supplies and the food always smells good. I feel like of you needed to place your loved one in a facility this would be a good choice .

Great facility!
My uncle was at the facility for rehabilitation after he fell and broke his hip. All the staff are so helpful and pleasant.
The facility is clean and smells nice. All nurses are compassionate.
The food services could be improved a bit. But I understand it is difficult with all the specific diets for all the patients. Thanks for taking care of my uncle.

My grandma was recently a patient at life care and I can say nothing but great things. My grandma can be quit bossy but everyone there would tell me how much they enjoyed visiting with her. I would ask if it was the right lady. Lol but seriously if my grandma or myself had any questions or concerns they would take the time to explain. Therapy worked with her daily and nursing staff would encourage her to do as much on her own as possible but to ring the bell if she was to get up. If they can get my grandma to listen they must be miracle workers . Hopefully they did their job and we won’t have to return but if we do, Life care is our number one and only choice .

My beautiful 94 year old Mother has resided at Life Care Center of NPR for over 6 months. She loves it. And she loves the food. She is thriving with the help of the wonderful staff. Shenia is a sweet & caring activities person. She gets the residents involved and you can tell she loves her job. I get regular updates from Marguerite & Helen. They keep close watch on my Mom's health. They too truly care about the residents. They make me feel so lucky to have Mom in their care. Cheers to these 3 wonderful people and to the rest of the staff !!!

Meeting with Hailey was such a blessing for our family. She gave us a tour and explained the care my father would receive. She got my him moved from a BAD facility to Life Care Center without adding any more stress to our family.
Donna Keisman greeted each visit with a smile and encouraging words, She made us feel like family every day.
Carmen the unit manager was amazing! She kept us well informed on all his care and immediately addressed any concerns we had.
This facility was very clean and ALL the staff was very professional and caring.
Hopefully we will never need a rehab center again. but if we do we will definitely go back to Life Care Center.
